Philip Dawes
I am a co-founder of the company K P & SONS . I have been a plumbing & heating engineer since 1986 when i became an apprentice working for a large plumbing & heating company in Leamington spa .I trained for 5 years at coventry technical college to become a fully qualified commercial and domestic plumbing & heating engineer to city & guilds advanced craft standard.I am also a fully qualified pipe fitter/ welder to city & guilds advanced craft standard.Since finishing my training many years ago i have worked for several companies working on domestic properties covering all aspects of plumbing & heating . During this time i have spent several years working for major companys on a self employed basis working on major projects around the country including canary wharfe and Terminal 5 at Heathrow .
Karl French
Co-founder karl originally trained as a carpenter in 1988 when he took a 4 year apprenticeship with a company in birmingham . he carried on with this course of work including all aspects of the carpentry / joinery industry plus kitchen and bedroom fitting to a very high standard.However in 2001 Karl felt a change of direction and whilst working for a large international company he started his 4 years of training to become a fully qualified plumbing & heating engineer . Part of karls later training was to become fully qualified in all aspects of gas safety and being a registered installer with Corgi and now the new Gas safe register.

Shay dawes, Jenson dawes and Ryan french , although still too young to start training we hope that eventually these young men will under our carefull guidance and full training will grow in to fully qualified and experienced plumbing & heating engineers and will carry the company forward and maintaining our own very high standards of work practice and customer satisfaction.
